TWIFOMAN MOURNS THE MOTHER OF HON. LAWYER BRIGHT WIREKO BROBBEY

The Twifoman Traditional Council headed by His Royal Highness Otumfour Amoah Sasraku IV on the 29th of June 2024, observed the 40 days celebration of their late “Queen” who is the mother of the paramount chief; Otumfour Amoah Sasraku IV (TWIFOMANHENE), the Hon. Lawyer Bright Wireko Brobbey (MP & SPECIAL ADVISOR TO THE MINISTRY OF EMPLOYMENT AND LABOUR RELATIONS) and the elder sister of Owoanini Adwoa Oben Asor II

(TWIFOMAN BAAHEMAA); OBAATANPA MARY SOMIAH known by all as AUNTIE YAA BOAA.
The celebration which was officiated by clergies of the Roman Catholic Church begun with a memorial service by the St. Anthony Church Choir of Twifo Hemang and St. Clare Catholic Choir of Mankessim.

In attendance were high traditional and government officials. Notable amongst them were; Otumfour Amoah Sasraku (TWIFOMANHENE), Owoanini Adwoa Oben Asor II (TWIFOMAN BAAHEMAA), Nana Afrifa Yamoah (DENKYIRA JUKWA HENE), Nana Ama Bukura (WASSA SAAHEMAA), Hon. Ignatuis Baffour Awuah (MINISTER OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT), Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour (DEP. MINISTER OF EDUCATION), Mr. Percy Dennis (AG. REGIONAL CHAIRMAN OF THE NPP & THE NPP PC FOR KEEA), Mr. Lawrence Kwabena Agyinsam (CEO OF EXIMBANK & THE NPP PC FOR HLD), Dr. Isaac Bampoe Addo (EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF CLOGSAG).

The family in consultation with the relevant stakeholders scheduled the final funeral rites of the late Obaatanpa Mary Somiah known by all as Auntie Yaa Boaa to the 27th -29th September 2024.
